SOUTH END ART HOP 2009
Johnnie and some friends met and went out to the South End Art Hop on Friday, Sept. 11th.
They report that it was a lot to see and take in. A lot bands playing at different sites. They had a lot of fun at the different gallerys along the HOP. 
This was at Site 21, Sterling Hardwoods next to Speeder and Earls.
They stopped in at the Soda Plant on Pine St. and ran into some of our friends like Ben from Bscene. He has some of his works on display. He is hanging out with the Green Mountain (roller) Derby Dames.
The Soda Plant and Conant Metal & Light joined together and held an event to support the community. They had Build or Rebuild a Chair for"Chairity". The proceeds went to ReCycle North and SEABA. Johnnie and Bones had to try out some of the chairs.
The Soda Plant housed many different types of art work. I see a photo of a Drag Queen and it is not ME!. Who did she pay for that? Nice photo titled "PRIDE".
They then went down to The Box. This is our friend Dostie's studio. You have seen Dostie's work at Drag Ball before.
The next stop was at the O'M O'Connell Studio located at 171 Saint Paul Street to see Don O'Connell's acrylic paintings and found a wonderful surprise...It was part of Lucy Belle's Award Winning Wig of 2007 on display. Thanks Guys. And this wasn't the first time Lucy was featured at Art Hop... click here! And last year we were a part of the fashion show... STRUT!
They also had some of wigs they've done for stage productions like Lyric Theater Company's Hello Dolly that was at the Flynn.

They had a lot more on display. Some of the wigs are from past Drag Balls. If you get a chance check it out. It looks like FUN!
