Saturday Night in Burlington with the Babes of Beaver Pond!!

posted Sunday, 3 February 2008

After a long afternoon of getting Margaurite branded tattooed, shopping for Drag Ball and having a cocktail or two (all captured to be part of Tim Kavanagh's Late Night Saturday to air Saturday, February 9 - and to be featured here in pictures - check back often), it was time to have fun!

So, it's Saturday night in Burlington, Vermont, what does a drag queen from the Hot Damn Trailor Park in Beaver Pond, Vt. do? Where do they go you ask? Let me show you.

We started with some drinks at Tilley's Cafe on lower Church Street.  They were celebrating the 1st year Anniversary! We saw our friend Rob who is the bar manager and one of the bartenders. And we had fun with some of the people having dinner and drinks. We met a birthday girl and her party.

Yes, Amber found a friend and Margaurite found the cake. They even had Free Valet Parking and the boys are cute.

He looks like he forgot were he parked the car.

From Tilley's we walked up Church St. to the 1/2 Lounge. DJ Precious (he'll be playing and performing at the Drag Ball) was there with Victoria and Celeste playing Male Box.

Sat with our fan/friend Carly and saw Shawn of Nancy Reagan's Decorator fame.

Celeste (on the left) will be performing at the Drag Ball.  We also ran into Connor, Mr. Vermont Pride.

We had a fun time playing post office or Male Box as they called it. We left the 1/2 and went across the street to Ri Ra's, always one of our favorite places. They had a live band playing, The Complaints, and the music was great.  We ran into some of our old friends and made a couple of new ones.

We left Ri Ra's and went off Church Street to The Green Room. Our friend Brian was dj and we ran into a lot of the local dj's at this bar.

After we had our fun, we left Burlington and came back to Beaver Pond. We had a great time!!
