Roller Derby Anyone?

Our friends Johnnie and Bob went to the Roller Derby on Sat. Sept. 12th at the Champlain Valley Expo. They watched the Green Mountain Derby Dames take on the Greater Toronto Area Rollergirls, the Derby Debutantes. Once again it looks like a lot of fun.

This is the car that the Debutantes arrived in. Aint nothing like drawing attention to yourself.

I see that Bob found a friend with a Big Cock (Dina, a fan of Annie Cockeldoo) and Johnnie found beer and a microphone. Johnnie is with the announcers for the night,  Candy Corn-ary and Hairy Callus. The boys report that the crowd is full of energy and the turnout is GREAT! They said it is a FUN way to spend a Saturday night in Vt. when the LeMay's are not out. I think we will have to go to the next bout. 

Let the roller derby bout begin.

On the left is Star Slayer, one of the Derby Dames Jammers, she is the offensive player and she is the one that will score the points. Doesn't she look sweet but the boys said you put her in the ring and she is one tough lady!! The Derby Dames did WIN the bout.  And, some of the players had their own fans in the crowd (and apparently the boys became fans of him).

  Bob and Johnnie followed the teams to Parima for a Victory Party, and ran into the two jammers of the team.  The Silencer and Star.
