RIP - Sabella Markievicz
We received word this weekend (April 2007) that our good friend Sabella Markievicz passed away at her trailer park in Florida. Sabella, also refered to as Syphlis, Citronella, Senella, Cassella, and any other funny word we could make out of her name, was a fun person and a great entertainer. She came to Vermont from Boston where she claimed she was a featured peformer at Jacques and in P'town. In 2000, Sabella was crowned the first Miss 135 Pearl, at a pageant hosted by The House of LeMay.
As we learn more, we'll post more. Until then, please feel free to send us your comments and memories.
PS - We were going to be mean and call this an obitchuary, but we decided not to.
I will miss Sibila, me, her and Zeno have had a lot fun and laughs on
Tuesdays at 135 Pearl with our friend Bob Bolyard bartending.
I, too, will miss my friend Sabella terribly...I recently had the
opportunity to visit him down in Florida with my friend Todd M. and we had
a wonderful time. I would like to take this time to let everyone know
around here that he missed you all terribly and knew that we were all one
of the best group of friends a girl could have in life. Funeral services
will be held in New Hampshire around the end of May/beginning of June. His
mother will welcome anybody who would like to attend...she had the pleasure
of joining us up here on a few occasions and loved us all and knew how
happy Sabella was here during his Burlington life. Goodbye my friend, I
will always remember and love you....love Vallerina
Sabella's mother has called to let me know when the memorial service will
be held:
It will be on Saturday June 9th at 1pm at her home in New Hampshire. I am
planning on attending - if anyone would like further information, please
let me know. Thanks.
