Hey Y'all what a Saturday we had. We started at 11:30am heading up to the Redstone Campus of UVM to help form a live red ribbon for Vermont CARES Overhead and aerial photos were taken with each participant wearing a red t-shirt (or red dress!). We heard that a photo was going to be taken and of course we had to go. This would be our first stop of three for the day.

We posed with CARES Executive Director Peter Jacobson. We also saw other friends who came out to help....

After the photos we headed downtown onto Church Street to see what was going on and went through the Farmers Market they have on Saturdays in City Hall Park. Our friend Valarie came along with us.

Amber ran into a friend of hers from years ago. Third from the left is P.A. Cooley who now lives in San Francisco. He was recently named Bay Area Cub 2010!

In City Hall Park, Lucy met a 91 year-old yoga instructor while Maggie wondered how she could live in this micro-house.
It was one of those days where a lot people were doing a lot of things in the Park. Here are Kim Jordan (center) and Sarah Mell (far right). They were sharing their poetry with those passing by.

Lucy was checking to see if she had to duck to duck in this parking garage... the clearance was 7'... was safe - barely. Meanwhile Maggie was reuniting with Justin - our friend from the Dragnomenon event.

We also went into RiRa for a drink and saw they too were having a fund raiser. They were shaving their heads, I think it was for the children fighting the battle with cancer. Our favorite bartender was going to have all of his hair cut that day.
When Bob stopped back later that night... this is what he saw. It was all for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
It was a NICE day for helping others. From here we had a wedding to go to and then off to Waterbury, Vt.
