Mardi Gras 2005

Here we are in 2005, a beautiful sunny cold day with our faithful friends. We are ready for another Parade with our float made of gold stars recycled from the Drag Ball. You can not be wasteful.  We were "green" before green was cool.

It is always fun waiting with all the other floats for the parade to start.  It is just one big Party! We always meet some of the nicest people. We met Champ.

And the Girls from the Red Cross and just think they won't let Gays give blood. 

Maybe Drag Queens can?

Outright Vt. had a float this year.

WCAX had a float.

I think they were 30 floats that year. After the parade we went onto Church St. like we always do.

Ran into one of Burlington's Finest! 

Then we headed to get a cocktail with our friends that helped us in the Parade.

Then we went to Finnigan's for a few drinks. We met a couple of guys from Rhode Island. They told us that they followed us into the bar because they knew we would be having fun.

And of course Ricky and Kevin who are regulars at Finnigan's. We all had so much fun!

And on the way home Amber crawled into a window display. She must have taken a wrong turn.

It was a fun year! Hope to see you this year 2009! Come find us!
