Yes, The House of LeMay has been performing for fifteen years... yes, we've had our share of the local media spotlight... yes, a documentary was made about us... but this week a national television (cable) network is coming to Burlington, and we're ready for our close up, Mr. DeMille!
The network is Logo ("entertainment programming for lesbians and gays and just about anyone who enjoys a gay point of view.") and the show is Bump! ("Everything you ever wanted to know about gay and lesbian travel destinations - all wrapped up in bite size videos you can snack on!"). And they're coming to Vermont to tell the world how cool this place is for vacationing and living. AND they want to talk to us! And not just talk - they want to see us in action... so we've invited the camera crew to join us on Wednesday, June 17 at Drink for the second round of the Queer Pub Quiz. We had SO much fun the last time!
Doors open at 7:30 with the first questions asked at 8pm... be prompt!!
The crew will also be at the Half Cocked event at Half Lounge on Tuesday, June 16 - featuring Craig Mitchell and Gregory Douglas.
