Labor Day - revisited
Labor Day is usually the last chance we girls from Beaver Pond get to get away before the snow starts flying and we have to start planning for our annual Leaf Peepin' Cider Sippin' Revues and Christmas Shows.
In 2005 and 2006, escaped to the Rainbow Woods Campground down by Schroon Lake, NY.
In '05 it was just a few days after Katrina visited New Orleans...
We hosted a drag bingo game with proceeds to benefit the Red Cross hurricane relief fund. The umbrellas in Amber's hair was to keep track of the number of cocktails she had... she ran out of umbrellas. And vodka.
Our good friends from Burlington, Rob, Joe and Randy came down to play with us!! Don't they look like they're having fun!?!?
One of the traditions of our Bingo games is to crown the official Bingo Queen. And... here 
Ouch! Those are C-clamps on his nipples.
The following year, 2006, we went back, did a show on Saturday night, hosted the Miss Rainbow Woods contest and then hosted another Sunday afternoon of Bingo. They worked us! And we sure did have fun. It's a great place to visit with some very friendly guys!
Here's the winner of Miss Rainbow Woods! Lucy was very upset that we wouldn't let her enter. We think Lucy suffers from sash-envy!
Liza was with us this time and she was the Bingo caller. She looks a little hung over doesn't she?
Randy returned again, too. And was crowned Bingo Queen!
And Amber was... Amber. Maybe THAT'S why we didn't go back in 2007!
