Yes, once again, another excuse for us ladies of Beaver Pond, Vermont to come to Burlington for a Parade. I remember our first Magic Hat Mardi Gras Parade was in 2000. We paid our entrance fee which by the way benefits the "Women's Rape Crisis Center" and also paid for our beads, chocolates, blue chips and moonpies that we threw to the crowd. We had our own little float and we all dressed up in the Renaissance Period. The crowd was amazing.

That was a fun year!!
Now in 2001 we did another float along with 135 Pearl and after the parade we hosted the first Drag Queen Survivor. Amber had drag queens running all over Church St. that night. Some of the drag queens had never been outside of closed doors till that night. So when you see a drag queen on the streets you can blame Amber LeMay!

That was a lot of work in 2001 but everyone had fun.
The next year was 2002, we had a float, "We've Got Magic To Do!!"

Can you find Zeno? After the parade we went to 135 Pearl for a cocktail and to warm up, of course!

After warming up for a bit we headed back onto Church St. for the Magic Hat Block Party!

After playing on the street we had to warm up again, this time at the Waiting Room and the Ri Ra's.
Now in 2003 we again had a float and hosted Drag Queen Survivor.

The Crowd was as large as always and everyone was having fun!!
Now it is time for Drag Queen Survivor! We split them into two teams.

We had them standing on one ft. and had people showing underwear and other things that we can not show!

And the Winner is Fluffy!!!
