Hot Damn! We're on the menu at Leunig's!

We've told you many times how Hank down at the Beaver Pond Pork By-Product Processing Plant (The BPPBPPPP) has been having a hard time this year. (Read about it HERE)  But, bless the man, he keeps trying.  At the last (well, not last - at least that I know of... let's say most recent) Leaf Peepin' Cider Sippin Revue, you finally got to meet Hank (pictured to the right with me). 

He brought us samples of some of his new products... Rice Krispie Treats w/Bacon, Chocolate-Covered Bacon, Bacon Grease Popcorn, and, of course Hank's Love Lard.  The guy is a pork prodigy.  And we are so fortunate to have him here at the Hot Damn Trailer Park in Beaver Pond.  But he has outdone did himself this time. 

The fine folks at Leunig's Bistro on Church Street in Burlington evidently discovered Hank's culinary capabilities, because now on their menu is...

Cider and Hot Damn Glazed Scallops

Pan Seared Scallops with Hazelnut & Sweet Potato Cake, Tempura Slab Bacon, Dried Apple, Spiced Carrot Gratin

That's pretty fancy eating for people from Beaver Pond, so we understand why Hank never served it at his Pop-a-Rod's Pizza Parlor. 

So if you're ever in Burlington, stop by Leunig's, order "our" meal and tell our friends Bob and Nora we said, "Hi."
