Hey Y'all, It is Time to Show Your PRIDE!!!
Here it is July 14th and it is still raining. Where is SUMMER? I was sitting in my trailer thinking that it will soon be PRIDE. So I started looking back at the past Parades that we have been in. My first Parade was 1996 and I was shy. I had just moved to Beaver Pond as a foreign exchange student from Mississippi. I rode in the back of a Jeep while the Sisters LeMay rode on a car. I was their Country Cousin.
Now in 1997 I did not show for the Parade but the Sisters did of course.
I was not in the PRIDE Parade in 1998 either! Amber and Margaurite made their appearance.
Now I am back in the Parade scene. It is time to Party like 1999!
The House of LeMay had a large group this year! We Fag Flag Men and LeMayjorettes with the Sisters riding in a car. This was the first year Pride was held on the Waterfront.
Now we go into the year 2000! We had a large group this year, too! We even had 2 Mummers join us from Philadelphia, Pa.
We called our group the Queens in Denial.
Lady Zeno was crowned the "Queen of Pride" for raising $5,000.00 for Pride by playing BINGO!!
It rained that day but not during the Parade! I hope it doesn't rain this year!
