ELTON JOHN COMING TO VERMONT!! UPDATE 4/29

IT'S OFFICIAL!!! Our buddy Brent Hollenbeck at the Burlington Free Press says so! Tickets go on sale Friday, May 2, $75-$135, with a limit of four per customer. Tickets are available at the Flynn Center box office in Burlington or by calling 863-5966 or visiting www.flynntix.org. Tickets are also available at Copy Ship Fax Plus in Essex Junction.

People have asked, "How come we haven't seen anything else about this anywhere else?" Well, we don't know! We first heard about it on WCAX with THIS report. And haven't heard anything else... there's some talk on some of the Elton John fan forums like THIS one. Keep checking back...
YES!!!! We heard it a few months ago when he was on Larry King ... there were three states that Sir Elton had not performed (musically, anyway)... and Vermont was/is one of them... (Delaware and Alaska the other two). BUT... that changes on July 21 when he plays the Champlain Valley Exposition.
You may recall that Elton (along with George Michael - ooh, bring him along!) and their version of "Don' the Let the Sun..." was #50 on the list of Gayest Songs of All Time. Hard to believe it, but that was the only song of Sir's on that list!
Don't know yet where or when tickets go on sale, but look for only 10,000 to be available. We'll let you know when WE know!! Keep checking back!!
