Cinco de Mayo !!

We got an email from our good friends Johnnie and Bob.  They had read HERE last week about the special Salsa Sunday on May 4 in Waterbury at Marsala Salsa.  They jumped in the car with Matt and Tracy and headed on down.  With a Cinco de Mayo theme, they said it was fun.  One of the things they appreciated was seeing the rainbow flag flying out front.

DJ John Nelson of Red Hot Karaoke (on the right in the left picture) stands with Jesse at his side.  John played great music and led the hula hoop contest.  Let us know when you're going to do karaoke on Sunday... we may give others a chance to sing...

 Michael (with Bob) along with Paul (with fellow bartendperson Brittany) are the guys responsible for the event.  Mucho gracias!!

They guys said they saw a few old long-time friends but they said they DIDN'T know (or recognize - sorry, Ed) two-thirds of the crowd.  Bob says he remembers being on that street in Waterbury before, at a different type of business.  Bob took the picture of the tiger... he said that is what you see when you're standing at the toilet.  What else did he take a picture of in there?

Looks like Widget Tracy met Jan the chef/owner of the place and hung out with some friends in the street. 

Well, we'll just have to get on down there some Sunday... keep checking back here, we'll tell you when we'll be there.
