Christmas "1999" The Miss Beaver Pond Contest

The Miss Beaver Pond Contest of 1999 took the place of our Christmas Show that year. It was hosted by the Sisters LeMay Co-Miss Beaver Pond 1974. This show was a benefit for Pride Day 2000. When the Sisters (right) won in 1974 it's true that they were the only contestants in the pagent. Now this would be the night of all nights that would change my life. The glamour, the prestige and the honor of being "Miss Beaver Pond".  There was even a story about it in Seven Days!

Bibs Fisk was the commentator for the night.

And I was crowned "Miss Beaver Pond". Some of the girls got upset over me winning and started a fight and stormed off the stage. And some have not been seen since. Today I still wear my sash proudly. I love representing Beaver Pond every chance I can get.
