With Town Meeting Day a week away (March 3), the four major candidates for the top spot in the Queen City are looking for ways to get those last couple of votes to make them the winner. After countless debates, knocks on doors and even a chili cook-off there is no clear front-runner. The League of Drag Queen Voters has a two-word piece of advice: Go West.
Last year the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce declared that the new logo/image/brand of Burlington would be "The West Coast of New England." And then a local attorney wanted to take it a bit further and declare, "Burlington, Vermont - The San Francisco of New England."

The League of Drag Queen Voters urges you to vote on March 3 - or request an absentee ballot from your town clerk. We don't endorse candidates, we just believe in our motto: "Don't Blow It- VOTE!!!" Won't these silly gays ever learn to take something seriously? As a gay man
with absolutely no sense of humor, I'm shocked and appalled by this post. h
